Presoftened Linen Sling - Marigold
Marigold is the first colour pictured - and comes with a black ring
These ring slings are made of 100% pure linen fabric, a very strong and durable fabric made from flax plant fibres. It is a structurally sound fabric that will never lose its shape and will only become softer with more wash and wear. It is 2-3 times stronger than cotton and has natural heating, cooling and shading properties. The fabric stays cool to the touch and is highly absorbent. Linen is antibacterial, hypoallergenic and resistant to abrasions, dirt, lint and stains. It is valued for its strength, longevity and freshness, and it’s why we use it for the little and loved. Our linen is naturally dyed and stonewashed, giving each sling a softer feel whilst adding to its durability and preventing any shrinkage. All slings are approximately 78 inches long, 26 inches wide, fully adjustable and designed to fit most.
• Made from good natural fibres
• Lightweight and easy to tote
• Suitable from birth to toddler
• Temperature regulating

Safe babywearing is happy babywearing so make sure you and baby are correctly positioned in the ring sling. The TICKS rule for safe babywearing is a good reminder to always have your baby:
- Tight in the sling
- In view at all times
- Close enough to kiss
- Keep chin off chest
- Back is supported
These sling rings have been tried and tested with your baby’s safety in mind and at heart. They are specifically designed for baby carriers and ring slings, and have undergone vigorous strength testing. The rings are nickel and lead free, and are compliant with RoHS and CPSC.
HOW TO WEAR TUTORIAL
Ring slings are adjustable and can be worn from birth to toddler or from 8-35 pounds/3.6-15.9 kg. If your baby is less than 8 pounds/3.6 kg, we recommend checking with your health provider before placing baby in the sling.
Wash your sling in lukewarm or cold soft water. Use a mild detergent and place in a gentle machine cycle. For extra protection, place a sock over the rings. Hang to air dry when it’s done. When ironing your sling, use plenty of steam and heat.
We want the best for you and your little one so please read and follow all safety instructions prior to use. Failure to comply can result in serious injury or death.
Check for damages in seams, fabric and rings before each use. Do not use if 'wear and tear' is visible. All damages and defects should be reported immediately.
* Linen naturally has bumps, nubs and slubs. These are purely cosmetic and will not affect the use or safety of the sling but please let us know if you have any concerns about the fabric.
These carriers are suitable from 8-35 pounds/3.6-15.9 kg. Do not exceed these weight limits. If you have any concerns about your baby's health or weight, check with your health provider before placing baby in the sling.
Always check for twists, folds and loose ends in fabric. All adjustments should be tight and secure.
Babies younger than 4 months have suffocated in baby slings. Always ensure that baby's face is uncovered, in view at all times and that chin is off chest. Baby's face should not be pressed against your body or the carrier as this can restrict breathing.
Babies born prematurely or those who have respiratory problems are at greater risk of suffocation. Always seek advice from your healthcare professional before wearing baby in the carrier.
Baby should be sitting upright in a deep seated position with knees above bum. Cradling or carrying baby in a C-shape position can obstruct airways.
* If breastfeeding in the sling, always reposition after each feed.
Regularly check that baby is breathing and that chin is up and away from chest. Babies can be in distress without noise or movement.
Never leave baby dangling or in a carrier that is not being worn.
Keep away from dangerous objects and use precaution around hot surfaces, chemicals and uneven walkways.
Do not wear your baby near water, in water, or while engaging in physical activities.
Never use your carrier when balance or mobility is impaired. This includes drowsiness.
Never wear your baby while driving or in a moving vehicle.
When learning to use your sling, keep one hand on baby at all times. Seek help putting baby in or taking baby out of the sling when needed.
Leaning, bending or tripping can cause baby to fall. Hold on to something stable or take baby out of the sling before reaching down.
Be conscious of the weather. Although linen is breathable, baby can still become overheated in high temperatures. Avoid wearing your carrier and keep baby in shade.
Trust your instincts.
Comfort is an important element in wearing your baby. If you do not feel comfortable or you have pain using this carrier, stop use immediately and seek medical attention.
If you have existing back or shoulder pain, this product may not be suitable for you. Check with your health practitioner before babywearing.
* Baby's weight should be evenly distributed across your body.
* The fabric should be spread out over your shoulder, never bunched at the neck.
* Ensure rings are in a corsage position, away from baby's head or face.
* Alternate between shoulders regularly.
* Never place more than one baby in the carrier and never wear more than one carrier at a time.
